2017 rics award category win and multiple shortlistings for dædalus conservation

Dædalus conservation, part of R W Armstrong, have been awarded a category win for Glynde Place at the 2017 RICS South East Awards. The award saw Dædalus triumph over 12 other sites shortlisted in the Building Conservation category. The next round will be the Grand Final later this year.

The awards ceremony also saw shortlistings in the 2017 RICS South East Awards for their work at Portsmouth Cathedral and Rectory Park.

The building conservation award showcases outstanding work in conservation of a single building or group of buildings or structures and covers renovation or conservation to a new or original use.

Commenting on the Glynde Place project, English Heritage stated, "This is a meticulously considered and well-presented proposal to bring the whole of Glynde Place back into active use".
