charity tennis day

In September approximately 80 local ladies grabbed their rackets and took part in a tennis day and lunch in aid of St Lawrence’s Church in Ecchinswell. R.W. Armstrong & Sons donated £500 to the total sum raised of over £2,500. 
 
The players were divided between seven courts located at private homes across the area, playing doubles in a round robin format.  The winners of each court received a prize, before all players returned to organiser Gabrielle Burn’s home for lunch.
