All Saints Church Reopening Service
A service of thanksgiving was held on the 9th September at All Saints Church, led by the Bishop of Kingston. Some 250 local residents gathered at the event to the celebrate the church's official reopening, following the successful completion of eighteen months of conservation work.

2013 Guildford Design Award for Daedalus Conservation
Daedalus Conservation, a division of R W Armstrong, was delighted to be awarded the 2013 Guildford Design Award for its restoration of the roof and cupola at Guildford's historic Guildhall in Guldford.  Deadalus Conservation undertook significant structural repairs to this iconic building during 2012, to stabilise the cupola bell tower and repair and re-roof the main hall and council chamber, working in liaison with architects Copper & Withycombe.

R W Armstrong London is delighted to have secured the refurbishment of a period property in Pimlico. The project, which was secured by way of competitive tender, comprises of the structural reconfiguration of the basement and upper floors, including a new tanking system, mechanical and electrical installation and full fit out package.

For many of us at Daedalus and in the world of building conservation, Ian was an inspiration and we will miss him enormously.
